Hacking in the New Forest

DH is thinking about taking us all to the New Forest for my birthday, I’ve asked if I can have a child free afternoon to go for a hack (used to come here with a friend to hacking as a teen).

Where is good? I can’t remember anywhere other than Burley Manor!

I don’t want to end up on a tourist plod nor do I want to end up fearing for my life I’ve had the same New Forest pony since 2012 and not really used to riding anything else and she’s as safe and bombproof as they come.

Bonus points if there’s anywhere that does Western!

Burley only do walk/jog now, will have a look at the others but hoping this isn’t the norm now (but having worked somewhere that did “tourist rides” I can understand why!)

I had a lovely hack a few years ago, with my daughters, from Bagnum Equestrian Centre, near Ringwood.
Lovely horses, really friendly people
