Hacking jackets

I want to buy a hacking jacket for BE. I was looking at a green one is this colour ok or should i look for a brown colour one, or what is the best colour to get.

I have a greeny coloured one but i only do unaff stuff so cant say about BE.

I got it very cheap for a one off showing class at hickstead and only paid £20 ish for it.

yuou can where either, i quite like a greeny brown personally.

Tweed is acceptable at all levels up to and including Novice. It doesn't matter what colour tweed.

You also see black and navy at all levels these days but i think tweed is much smarter.

Yes I agree tweed is smarter - used to be compulsory till intermediate!

I forgot to add if i buy a green or brown colour one, what colour hat silk do i wear.

i wear brown with a brown hat for showing (alexander james)
