Hacking near Somerset / Wilts border

The hacking from our yard is pretty rubbish so now I have a trailer I'm hoping to get out and about. Can you suggest any good places to hack on the Somerset / Wilts border?
Do you need a permit to hack on the Longleat / Shearwater estate? Where do I get one?

You can go to the Deverills and the Stourhead estate.

Second the Deverills! I live there! Hacking is fab, lots of cantering on really good ground.
