I had to make use of the glorious sunshine today, so I took Neddy for a wander with Mum and Dad :)
It was windy, but he's a good boy when the parents are with us!

I decided today was going to be the test to see whether he really is over his old home or not. Thankfully - he is!! He didn't even look down the path that would take him there :) just walked right past!

Though we did see a car in the ditch :O they must have just got too close and fallen in!! We did see the boys who were driving and thankfully they were ok and calling for someone to help them out!
Ned did NOT like it and I opted for getting off and leading past, because there was an equally deep ditch on the other side of the path and he was heading dangerously close to it. Hopped back on and all was well :)

When we got back to the field, we even had a little paddle haha!

(disclaimer - the shetland is in a rainsheet because he's not a real shetland and he feels the cold more than a proper one! He loves getting his rug on! And it was freeeeeeeeeeezing!)
 
I'm not a fan of seeing little furries in jackets, but that is cute!!

Well done on your ride, looks like you chose wisely to ride without any rain.

Hehe thanks! Normally I'd never put a coat on a fuzzy, but I felt behind his ears and under his armpits and he was really chilly :( much colder than Neddy! They have matching rugs too :P but Ned was warm enough with out his rain sheet on too :P They look adorable as matchy ponies!

Not sure haha! His passport says Shetland X and I can believe that! He's such a wimp! I was ready to have him naked in all weather...good thing I had a moment of madness and actually bought him a rug! :P
 
My fatcob had to be clipped as he was sweating in his box, and I had lots of people grope him today to feel how hot he was, naked and clipped! But yes, it was FREEZING!!! Any normal horse would have wanted a rug, just not my big fattie who came from the wilds of County Durham :P Whereabouts are you Nah? It looks really familiar but I cant put my finger on it! PM me if you want or it will drive me mad! :P

I'm in Milton Keynes :) in a village just outside Newport Pagnell :)
