Hacking out tomorrow!

Well, today I suppose, lol! Better get to bed...
Going for a short hack on Hippo to see how she is under saddle. Just 15 minutes at walk on the flat. Am a bit concerned after she was so stiff the other day. Hopefully all will be well!

Well, she was in fine form, but a bit stiff still when OH was lunging her, though she did carry herself nicely. Even gave an outline

However, her worrisome bump was seeping a bit - more of it has come away, which is good. Didn't like to put the saddle on her until it has healed again. Vet says it has been a flybite that got rubbed, but it's right in the middle of her flank so any time it flares up vet said to not saddle her in case of pain/irritation.

I may get a second opinion on worrisome bump...it looks rather nasty at the moment, but vet checked it on Wednesday and said it was fine; not attached to anything other than the skin I will ask my OH to post picture. Warning - she is clean in the picture!

So my hack is postponed until bump has sealed fully again...
