It is a tough one for me......

He is a worrier alone but an arse in company. LOL

I like to do more alone work to get him over it but prefer the social side of company

I like to hack out with others for social reasons but I do hack alone quite a bit as my sister has only just started hacking her ned.

I hack on my own cos I hack at 0730 and it is too early for the others. I also like being able to work him hard and the others don't do as much.

i chose 1 as i then only have to rely on me - getting out on time & that but i would choose 3 has he sometimes need company to give him confidence

I dont keep my horse on her own but they all belong to me and I rarely have someone to hack out with. I have done ride and lead in the past but will avoid it nowadays. I dont mind going out with company but i love the warm summer evenings on my own with my horse especially if I have had a bad day at work!

I put in company, but it really depends what mood I am in, I quite like hacking on my own, but my horse can (depending on what mood he is in) be a tit, so he is much better with my mare to be wedged between him and any TB eating monsters we may encounter!

I dont hack at all! I used to love it when I had sensible ponies, then I moved onto horses and had too many incidents with 3 of them (bolting twice and falling off a huge bank onto a barbed wire fence!). So I very rarely do it, one I never hack out. The young horses I do try to get out (not far though) purely for experience but I hate it!

I do wish I could hack out and mine were all totally sensible about it as it would make getting them eventing fit so much easier!!
