What do u enjoy most ..hacking alone or in company ? ..the last couple of weeks I have been hacking alone and really enjoy spending alone time with my boy ..(but I do worry alittle what might happen if I hit the deck :/ ? )

Both!
It depends on my mood really. If i'm in a bad mood or not quite myself, I prefer hacking alone where I can just chill out with Paddy and think things through And if i'm in a good mood I love hacking with company! Lots more fun and you're not talking to yourself or your horse

I like both

I am out on my own just about all the time, with the odd exception of about once a month - its lovely to be able to choose where to go & what pace to ride at - and how long to canter etc

Then on the odd rare occasions I ride with others, its equally pleasant to have a good natter & its good for FLF to go 1st/last/middle etc

I dont like being kept to timetables, nor being leant on by others, tho am always happy to help & escort if needed - I just like being on my jack-jones much of the time these days

I enjoy both. On my own I can go at my own pace but I do enjoy a good chat with company.

Had a lovely ride with friends today - that is until the boyo decided to turn into a Welsh Dragon, show off to the mares and embarrass me

Alone because I'm an antisocial baggage
I never thought I would hack alone as I was alway afraid of what would happen if I fell but my Lad always makes me feel safe, I always have my mobile on me and I always let people know if I'm off out alone.

I do quite like hacking in company too though

Much prefer alone. Again, not a very sociable person and just like being with my horse! And I like to decide on the pace and route.

Was hard work getting him to hack alone but now he is great.

Alone. For so long, the one thing I wanted was to go for a chilled out hack with just me and my horse, but he was such an arse that it always ended up being stressful! But we persevered and I'm so glad - it's the nicest thing in the world to saddle up after being stuck in an office all day and go for a wander. I am on a private yard, with masses of private land so I can often go out and see only deer and rabbits and nobody else. Bliss! I am due to move back to a livery yard in the next few months (unfortunately) so I will have the option of going out with others but I'd prefer to go alone!
