Had a boycotter at the circus

Local circus is in town. At the gate was a lady in a lovely rainbow skirt with a big sign saying boycott animal circuses. Very good - I agree with her that wild animals should not be in the circus.

This particular circus has one Shetland and a riding horse. They had s big stable pen outside with shade and grazing and I know they have a field at "home" and they looked fabulous and I was in the verge of asking how they got a Shetland in that shape!!

I then look over to find said lady walking in. With a ticket. And sitting ring side. So bought the most expensive ticket!

Perhaps she was there to get some undercover footage or personal experiences for anti animal circus literature?

Perhaps she wanted a good view to see if there was anything to complain about when the horses were performing?

She was laughing her head off during it all! She didn't clap at the horses but then neither did I cause frankly the entire circus was a little flat.

Even if she was just getting footage (no cameras allowed so she didn't actually get anything) it was still ridiculous. She's not doing the exact thing she's telling people to do.

My sister was at this circus the other week - said the exact same thing and loved it! Ponies looked healthy and happy, also boycotter there but perhaps not the same one. Bit odd in general really.

Even if she was just getting footage (no cameras allowed so she didn't actually get anything) it was still ridiculous. She's not doing the exact thing she's telling people to do.

She may have had a 'secret' camera upon her person and we might see something along the lines of 'circus's exposed' on The Tonight Programme or similar.

She won't have got much lol! I'm the first to complain if the horses are not looking happy, these ones looked very happy. They were even messing about and the trainer was just laughing.
