Was driving home from a lesson & noticed a pheasant in the middle of the road with it's little head still up, people just kept driving over it (luckily it was going between the wheels) & it eventually kind of flapped off the road.
I went all the way round and back again and stopped to catch the little thing (my dad was in the car with me so I got him to drive) I covered his head with sheet and we were driving him to the wildlife rescue centre but when we were nearly there he died
It was horrible he just had a fit then went all floppy ... I've never actually held something while it died, anyway I cried like a baby while my dad looked at me not able to understand cos it was "only a bird" but I felt so guilty started to think I'd done something to kill it. Sooo yeah you will probably think I'm a loony now upset over a pheasant ... Lol.
Anyway a more horsey related question ...
Would any of you buy a youngster even if meant obviously not being able to ride for a few years as having more than one horse is not an option?
