My normal vet from the same practice as the other vet came out today and baisically said he can be ridden doing gentle work on the hard ground but should be ok to do normal work on soft ground etc and she was a lot more helpful and baisically said it is a bang to the bone and there is no infection and no soft tissue damage and that the only thing we can do is wait to see if the swelling goes down she said it could take weeks, months or it may never fully go down

but she was a lot more helpful than the other vet and i got more information out of her within the first sentence than i did in the whole visit from the other one

She also looked at my youngster and just said it was because he hasn't got any muscle built up in his leg so when hes resting his leg it is sort of locking into place and if he goes lame for longer than a couple of days than she will come out and look further into it,
So i guess its pretty good news all round unless my TB gets a permnament lump on his leg then i don't think i am going to have much look with selling him lol
