Had a fabulous ride today

Lovely hack was had today (apart from Patches walking into a stationary car, which will no doubt cost a fair whack - told her no new rugs for her this month!).

Went out with my friend Jenny and her horse Taz. We were out for about 3 hours. On the way back to the farm we went for a lovely canter across our stubble fields. I can't recall the last time the stubble was soft enough to ride on. Fabulous steady canter around the perimeter of the 25 acre narrow, as in long stretched out, field that runs along the motorway.

No rain here today. We had horrid rain yesterday and Tuesday though. Weather was gloriously hot and sunny.
