Had a fantastic lesson tonight!

First lesson I've had in ages since moving yards - the start of turning my SJ'er into a dressage pony!! New instructor had a chat, then got on her, rode her for half an hour and thought she was fab (if a fiesty lil mare!) And thinks we will get a decent dressage test out of her! Obviously lots to be worked on, but had her going fantastic by the end of the lesson

Excellent - she moves great so there's no reason why you can't channel that feistyness (sp?) into a dressage test. P always does his best dressage test when I think he's being a little s**t!!! I just wish I had a sound pony to ride

I love that feeling. I am trying to organise a lesson with Susie Gibson, but I have no transport since my car got nicked and I dont know if I have enough jumps at home. Well done you, and what does Madam think of her new career?
