Had a letter today that made me cry

I sold my gelding last year to some lovely people up in scotland

Just been going through my mail and the lady has written me a 6 page letter with photos included to show me how he is getting on. He looks stunning and so happy - lots of photos of him jumping and some great shots of him doing show hunter classes.

I am sooo glad he went to this home and they are so wonderful to send me these letters.

I've always kept in touch with old owners , I'd like someone to do it for me. The girl that bought my gelding is in touch once a year or so just to let me know he's ok, I'd like more but I know he's in a great home so I don't worry.

Aww thats considerate of them! I'd do anything to know how the last horse I sold is. I sold her rather hastily 8 yrs ago when I discovered that I was pregnant and with my OH working away saw no way I'd have the time for her. I regretted it from the second she went, she was a really special little mare and Id just love to know how she is but can't trace her now.
