Thistle (from on here) came over to meet the gang this afternoon and stayed whilst the saddle fitter was out to fit Berry's new saddle. We've decided that Berry is growing old absolutely disgracefully and does everything in his power to wind me up - believe me, he succeeds!!!!!! He just would NOT stand still for the saddler! Honestly, he's SUCH a git!! I love him dearly, but he drives me to distraction!! At the end of the fitting, Berry and I went for a twirl around the school (I did this on Weds evening too, as I needed to make sure that he wasn't going to kill me with an audience today). Feels lovely, but ever so strange to be riding again!! I felt all over the shop - I'd forgotten just how bouncey he is! But apparently I don't look too bad

Nice to hear when you've not ridden for over 18 months!! And then on a very different horse - Topper was 9 inches taller than Berry afterall!!
Thistle says that she rather likes B and H too - helps when they are well behaved, unlike the old git!! Was lovely to meet you Thistle, hope to see more of you now that we're relative locals!
