Had a lovely dream last night.

and its made me feel quite chilled!
I dreamt I was on the yard, and was walking past Bensons old stable. I looked into the stable and the horse was there that is stabled in it now, but in the corner at the back, was Benson. I went in for a cuddle and he told me he was okay, he didnt feel pain anymore, and he was happy.
Makes such a change from the nightmares!!!!
(.....hmmm....will now go and compose myself before work!!!!.....)

I have heard of this happening in dreams before. Almost as if they are sent to finally give you peace over a situation.
 
Hmmm, slightly more proffessional now!!! Ity does get a bit embaressing sitting at my desk in the main reception of a large hospital, snivelling!!! Maybe I shouldnt come on here till I get home!!


i agree ladyinred, after the horrible way Benson died, it has given me some peace, and rainbow bridge sounds lovely according to him!!!
 
Ah you made me cry too!!

You are obviously in his thoughts too, I'm sure it wont be the last time he drops in on you. I dream quite regularly about my dog Baba, such a treat. Proves they never truly leave x

Was the dream really really vivid? As though it was real?

I only ask because I had a one after my horse had to be suddenly PTS......it was so real and vivid I could feel the sun on me and smell 'horse'.....I was out riding him in the sun and it was lovely.....sound totally stupid but I think he came to me for a last ride and to let me know he was ok.

*wanders off to hug a tree*:o
 
it was so so real! I woke up and could almost smell him. (although maybe that was my filthy jeans I had worn to the yard!) But I could definately feel him.
 
Beyond wonderful 80)

I had a dream about a fondly missed family member last week: I'd never met with the dead in a dream before, and it was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I'm so glad you go to see Benson and how happy he is! 80)
 
I once went with a friend to see a psychic, I was totally sceptical of the whole thing but she asked me if I would like to sit in on it. After about ten minutes and her giving me some very odd looks she asked me if I would actually wait outside. When she came out she apologised but said she couldn't concentrate with a big dog in the room, insulted much!!!

She then went on to describe perfectly my old great Dane! She said she never leaves me ever, none of the souls in our lives do.
This was a huge comfort to me then, and now as I lost my old mare on Monday.

(probably explains why cats don't like me too)
 
Benson that brought a lump to my throat, especially as I dreamed two nights ago that I was riding my Dazzle (who I lost recently), we were galloping along a ridge (not my normal riding speed!) in the most wonderful balanced gallop, she didn't even spook when a plastic sheet blew across the track!
 
I had a similar dream after my boy died, and he could talk.

He said many things that bring comfort :) also when my grandad died I had a 'dream' he was sst in his chair!!!

I said' grandad you have died' he replied ' do not ever thing that I am well and will always be here'

Both dreams were as real az me typing this... Makes you wonder
 
How wonderful for you. I had my friend come to me in a dream last night, she was killed on a motorbike 12 yrs ago. She visits every now and then to let me know she is ok. I always say the same to her in my dream " **** you are supposed to be dead" ha ha. She laughs ands always says " I am but am just letting you know im still around"

It makes me giggle everytime.
