Had a saddle slip - any good no elastic acted girths

My mare wouldn't tolerate girths with elastic at the ends.
Thorowgood cob girth has no elastic
Humane girths have no elastic but I'm always worried about dropping a buckle when tightening the girth whilst on board.
I also have a wintec girth that has elastic in the centre that you can't see. This is the only elasticated girth my mare will tolerate.

I tried using a girth with elastic at both ends and it made the saddle slip horrendously. I would now only use the Stubben Trevia string girth which has really solved our saddle slipping issues. I use mine with a sheepskin cover as was a bit paranoid it would pinch my girl but she seems happy with it as am I!
