had a lovely hack today on alfie, hes still a little hot but thats to be expected after all the time hes had off with his leg.
god i have really missed him, it feels great to have a 18.3hh horse underneath you instead of the other smaller ones on the yard.
i hate riding lazy horses anyway, my plan of action atm is to build up his road work for another 4 weeks or so and then get down to some real work in the school.
* touch wood * his leg keeps ok and gets stronger but he was striding out like a good un this morning.
thank god things are looking up.
