Had a bit of an accident last night
Did some lunging with my 3yo, he was fab, cantering on correct leg and listening
Went to take him in, and I was complacent I suppose *slaps wrist*
I was walking in front of him when he suddenly panicked. He spooked forward and stood on the back of my foot (grazed all the skin off
) I fell over because I couldnt move my foot. Was scary as I fully expected him to keep coming and trample on me, so I just curled up in a ball waiting for it.
Bless him, he stopped and looked really worried about what he'd done.
Im really relieved he didnt trample me but when I got up, I saw the stirrup leather on the floor and the scratches on the saddle, so he obviously got stuck. I was upset about the scratches which obviously cant be fixed
But then I went to put the stirrup leather back on and the metal bar it goes on has bent outwards a bit (Dont know how secure my stirrup will be sat on that)
Can it be fixed? Ive only had his saddle a month or two
