Had enough of summer now.....

After a brief respite of cooler, wetter weather, I had to get my 2 in this morning as they were doing a wall of death being chased by hornets!

Both sweating buckets and field churned up to buggery, poor loves.......

We've had a summer? I think I've missed that!

It already feels like autumn to be honest, ive been eyeing up the log burner but coming to my senses and not putting it on!

i wonder if mine were being bothered by hornets in the fields yesterday? They came in stamping and acting weird, like they were looking around them for a wasp…but i couldnt see anything.

It has gone from cool and wet in mid wales, to today with bright sunshine and hot, so think bringing the nasties out - noticed a lot of wasps today as well.........

Each to their own I know but I’m always amazed that anyone can look forward to dark nights, snow, howling winds, endless rain, mud, frost, ice. Blimey, the list could go on and on.

Autumn and spring are ideal for horses - height of summer and depths of winter can 'do one'......!
