Had my first lesson

And it went well!

I didn't trot till the end and did some sand school turns instead to get my confidence up but other than that it was good

I'm cold but think im hooked! Wish my lesson had been longer

Glad you enjoyed it! Cold is a fact of life around horses so you'll have to get used to it if you are hooked...

I've come home and put my fleece pjs bottoms on till its time to get DD1 lol

I'm happy to learn to layer up to ride

im taking DD1 for her lesson on Sunday as normal and am going to book and pay for my lesson then.

My instructor is confident that if i can spend the next lesson trotting again and working on turns then i can go on the lunge afterwards.

I went with my friend who is more confident and advanced, she will be going on the lunge next lesson that she has but shes had more previous experience to me

But yes, i'm in love!
