Went out with it on for first time, didn't go on road but down the farm drive opposite us, which we have permission to ride on. Anyway there's a few houses down this drive so you do meet the odd car.

We were going round a bend, a 4x4 came up behind quite quick, we pulled over so he could pass and he stopped by the side of me to apologise!! Never had that happen before :-) He also said I should give him 3 points!!

Definate result in my book!
 
You hit on lucky there! The ammount of idiots ive passed whilst hacking out that just fly by and watch my pony get the fright of his life!
That was nice of him, wish every driver was like that :P
 
I have had hi viz tabards made up via ebay that say THANK-YOU FOR SLOWING DOWN. They were only £4.59 inc printing (personalised) and postage.
I always like to 'thank' but sometimes it's dangerous to take a hand off, so I thought this was the perfect answer. :)
 
I got mine direct from the equisafety website. I brought the tabard and the hat band but tonight I only had the tabard on xx
 
im getting some for my online business next week. im really keen to get people wearing hi viz and i think people would like to wear these. they have a whole set! for the winter i will be stocking the whole set and having it for my own also! they do a wrap around sheet with the blue checks at the front! the breast plate, hat band and leg wraps! looks fab!

I posted a pic of me wearing my "Polite" tabard on my FB wall. A friend who teaches is now ordering some for her school, for front and back leaders when on school walks with the children. Fab idea.

haha i must learn to read properly...i missed the SONS in that second para and thought u were sharing ur secrets of keeping ur sex life interesting :D Me and my dirty mind lol :rolleyes:
 
I got my Aunty Joan to send one from England for me and I'll be wearing it in my lesson today. It's my last lesson in Hong Kong for the summer as I'm leaving for Morocco to finally see my boys in 5 days ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! I'm going to take it to Morocco with me and see what happens.

OP - good result lass :D:D:D

I've definitely noticed drivers being politer :D. Big chestnut horse and I'm usually wearing a black jacket underneath the tabard, though I'm not sure the purple jods help :rolleyes::cool::D
