Had a horse on loan for 3 months now. Finally got round to taking him XC schooling.
Now bear in mind that my old horse would stop frequently, spook, give most jumps about 4ft of 'air', panic if was asked to anything a bit complex like steps and generally scare the life out of me!
New beastie is brilliant, knows how to do every jump, sorts out the striding - only mucked it up when I interfered LOL, takes everything in his stride
Really gave me loads of confidence .... and found myself doing jumps slightly out of my comfort zone i.e. a hedge (SCARY!), down-steps, a ditch etc etc.
SOOOOOO PLEASED
