I took my new mare to our first show today and managed to pluck up the confidence to jump her in the 2ft class and we got a clear round!!

it doesn't sound much, but jumping makes me quite nervous, and however much I trust my girl our first show together was a big thing! I didn't do the jump off because they put it up to nearly 2ft6 and that was too far for my confidence for a first attempt so I bottled it, and we left on a good note!
I love my girl, she so looks after me but gives me a challenging ride at the same time so its not boring, I have so much to thank her for in such a short space of time!

thanks, my sense of direction is normally ok, its my confidence which means I normally have problems because I dont ride the horse into the fences enough!

ETS getting lost is so easy though, I think your brave for getting as far as entering the class!! lol
