Went to ride Roo, and decided to jump. There was no one else at the yard, I've never jumped without being taught. But I decided to give it a go, I got to about 2 foot 6. When I put it up to the final height I was like, oh thats a bit too big, but I decided I would at least jump it once, so I know I've done it. I ended up jumping it about 4 times.
Also, I normally jump in dutch gag on the middle ring, today I jumped in the snaffle ring on the dutch gag.
She was getting stronger and faster on every approach, and one approach she started bucking about 2 strides away from the fence, I thought 'ohhh no, not going to make it!!!!' and then she sorted herself out and jumped it.
Also, I asked my friend if I could bring his horse back into work for him, he said yes. She has been known to bronc until the rider comes off, when she's been out of work. So the plan was to lunge for at least a few days first, and then get someone to lead her round when I got on. But she was being so good on the lunge I decided to lean over her saddle, she didnt react, so I sat on her, then decided to walk and ended up walk, trot and cantering round
She didn't even buck once, I was well happy
I kept the lunge line attatched to the bit the whole time though, just incase I'd come off.
I love days like that
