Had such a good ride today :)

As its a nice day, me, my brother and emma took the three boys for a nice long 3 hour hack up to the moor and back it was so nice to be up there and the boys were so well behaved we had some nice canters, jumped some logs, had fun splashing through puddles and even came face to face with some wild ponies!
Slightly pointless post but just had to share!

I thought it was a fab ride, even if no one else does!! Was soooo funny when jazzy spooked at the log and those people looked a bit shocked

We should go to Culmstock beacon more often. Will jumps the other logs next time

My ex sharer has her old loan horse back so we went for a great hack too. Took big brown pony out after and he was a pig. A real pig. Still tomorrow is another day. Glad u had fun.

certainly was fab weather for hacking today although 10 degrees cooler would have been good

We had a nice chilled out hack too with a splash through the pond (very proud of the boy as it was his first experience of it!).

Finished off with a stop at the pub which has to be highly commended for welcoming the horses with a row of haynets, water trough, headcollars and tie rings supplied plus some handy benches to enable a clamber back on after a little drink - now that's what I call a great pub

That looks nice FB similar looking to where we were - we were near Culmstock Beacon in Devon, near Wellington.

I like the idea of stopping at a pub PP - I'd like to do that some day! Was really very hot out and soooooo many flies and horse flies - very unpleasant
