Some of you may remeber me posting regarding my lads swollen pastern??Vet came today as swollen area was no better,no worse either(still localised)!!Appears to be subcutaneous swelling(basically in human terms a spot that needs to burst
),advised poulticing twice a day and bute until it pops..ewww,lol,was sooo relieved no ligaments etc involved
And update on the disunited canter,vet watched him trot up today...we trotted him up yest and he was using one of his hinds strangely...he checked his back and appears he does have pain in his back(sacro illiac area) and slight pull in the front half of his hock..again nothing serious just needs the physio...she is coming on tues nxt week
Had to share as was convinced it would be bad news....am well relieved
