Had to abandon the lorry today....

......in the middle of a roundabout!!! Driving up the M5 we lost all air pressure (have air brakes and air clutch) managed to get off the motorway but had to stop on a roundabout and the brakes locked on! Que frantic phonecalls, lorry not roadside fixable so we had to abandon it on the roundabout and transfer horse and kit and humans into hastily borrowed 2 box in the middle of the roundabout.!!!
JUST managed to get to the course on time to declare. PHEW!!! Nightmare!
Just back home now to see the lorry here already! Came all the way home on a tow truck (think HUGE lorry on top of HUGE tow truck) and beat us back!

Horse came 4th after well over a year off the track (apparently no one could stay on her so couldnt be trained...?!!

No don't think you do, Just the boys went to chadds and said someone had broken down. 4th is good cos the racing was pretty good for this time of year.

We had a p2per in ireland that we used to have to ride in the horse walker before going up gallops, she was scary BUT did win a p2p and bumper
