I've never been able to afford a nice saddle, always had my heart set on a bates Caprilli what with my ever changing youngster but could never find one for under 450 ish! So low and behold I found one for 200, it was in excellent cond, sound tree wise etc only used on one horse by an older lady, but it had many rain spots which has ruined its appearance. I bought it anyway in the hope I could get them out, but if not it wasn't the end of the world coz my butt would hide them,:D

Anyway I've used gold label dubbin on it, as suggested to me by a friend (usually use neatsfoot) I've coated it quite a few times over a few days and the leathers loving it, and 24hours later went to check on it, NO rain spots, it looks virtually brand new, I'm proud as punch, it's good enough for showing! Just had to share, I'm sure some if you probably already knw this, but anyway there we go x
