Reminds me of a video my husband found online of pre WW1 German cavalry training! Some mad but amazing stuff...

Sorry about the Irish comment then, I didn't think the british riders were into this sort of thing. The Machin Goodalls were really well known as a horsey family, and she wasn't far from where i live. Amazing!
