Haflinger/dutch wb what show class's??

We have a haflinger/dutch wb (approx 14.1 but we think hes grown!)which my son rides. My daughter will move onto him when she is a bit bigger/more confident but at the moment she feels he is abit to much for her....he is very nice natured but needs a confident rider or he takes the p***. Anyhow my question is are there any showing class's we could put him in...not worried about winning but would like to give my daughter something to aim for that isnt as scary as hunter trials etc which is what my son will be doing. I have no idea about showing as you can probably tell so any help will be great!
p.s he is looking abit scruffy in these photos and he's alot fitter looking now but thought it would give you an idea...the pink boots are a wind up, my son hates them!!

He's nice! You can certainly see the Haffie stamp on him!

he could go in Foreign breeds class (ridden or in hand)
or best condition (in hand, maybe your daughter could do that one?)
or an in-hand Driving Type horse class
 
Like the sound of best in condition, have never heard of that one! Sounds like there is quite a few options for him...my daughter basically treats him like a my little pony so I think she will lurve making him look pretty!
 
Does anyone know where to look for these class's...I am in the louth area of lincolnshire but dont mind travelling abit?
 
Any small (ish) local show is likely to have classes that any-one can enter with any horse/pony. The best thing would be to look in local tack & feed shops at the schedules which will be left there.

Thanks for that, will take a look...will be fun giving him a bath, we tend to get wetter than him but its all good fun!
 
OMG, I have one too but have never seen another one. Mines a 14.2 predominantly dw looking. I do working hunter and show hunter as she's a pretty girlie. She does most things, handy pony, chase me Charlie, jumping but I love condition and turnout, I could spend days preparing!
 
So do I! I thought I was the only one, because mine was a mistake apparently (not by me, I bought her as a two year old). Here's Chloe:

Do you have any pics of yours GJ? Last year we did general in hand showing at local shows and even won a sports pony class, this year We are doing hunter pony in hand. She's really a pleasure to own, very bold and friendly and also quite cheeky!
