Hair loss round eye?

My little retired welsh pony, who is grey and has pink skin, has started to loss the hair around one of her eyes.

Her eye looks fine and has not changed in anyway, vet has been out and gave her the all clear and said it might just be old age it was the locum, not my usual? (I am unsure)

Has anyone else come across this before? x
 
actually losing hair or hair just changing colour? when Ron started with vitiligo his hair appeared to be lost, but on closer inspection it was thinner and then grew in white...

is she rubbing the area at all?
