hair loss

My jack russel bitch is fine in every way but is going a bit bald,
she is not spayed, and 6 years old.
I am going to seek vets advice but wandered if anyone else has had a dog do this. Oh and she has got a bit plump (not in pup).

Is she lethargic? Check out thyroid with the vet? Or cushings?
Might be nothing, but I'd pop her there to put your mind at rest.

she doesnt have a lot of energy, but then she has never been a nutty sort girl, I am going to see the vet asap, thank you for your help.
