Hair loss?!

Hi, I’ve attached a picture so you can see what I mean but my mare has lost some hair on the top line of her neck and I’m really worrying.
I think from rubbing and itching herself on the tree but I just want to check it is just that or if anyone else has any other ideas?! There’s one small scab but the rest looks like just broken off fur and a bit dry and dandruffy.. it’s getting worse so beginning to worry it something worse than I originally thought! Can’t see any lice.

Could be lice at this time of year … I would de-louse just to be on the safe side.

Could also be the start of ringworm. Are you close to any cattle?

buying some de-licer now. If it proceeds I’ll assume she’s getting sweet itch ?
