Hello, I doubt i can do anything about this, but will put the question out there ........... my horse has a patch of hair rubbing off where my leg goes when riding. Anything i can do to stop this? Did not seem to happen on my chestnut but much more noticeable on my dark bay? Maybe he is just more sensitive!

Hi - I have exactly the same problem. My grey has two balding patches and I am desperate as we are entering a showing championships in September. Am even considering spray painting him for the day!

In fact, what this this and the rubbing from the fly rugs on his shoulders he looks a right state!!

Any tips would be brilliant!

hey guys, i know baby oil is brilliant for encouraging the hair to grow back and i suggest rubbing some on daily to the bald patches.

Why not try using megatek? It encourages growth and strength to exisiting hair.

For my chaps it has worked really well. You can mix it 50 - 50 with water and apply a little each day, rub in and leave.

Also gives me very strong finger nails that grow like mad.

Get it from tailgator.co.uk - is very effective and not messy like oils and creams and smells wonderful.
