Just wondering if anyone knows/had experience of a horse thats had a hairline crack in its rear pastern?
Ex racehorse that last year obtained a hairline crack, it got pinned and have a very high class of aftercare from the onsite vet (swimming pool, vibrating plates etc) and after 6 months of therapy, returned to racing horse is 100% fine and the vet has advised the horse is good for showing, dressage, WH and show jumping but not XC on hard ground/hunting he did say they usually get arthritis in later years but as its in her rear theres a lesser chance.
Anyone else had experience of this? x
