In August last year my little mare fractured her 4th carpal joint in her knee.
She has had 3 months continuous box rest before having another x-ray, in November, which showed the fracture has healed well and we then began walking her in hand from 10 minutes up to an hour.
The vet has been out again, Jan 4th and has said I can ride her in walk for up to 30 minutes a day and next Wednesday she can finally get turned out and blow off some steam.
Just wondering if anyone else had any experience of a knee fracture or any fracture and what you were able to do with them once they had fully recovered and strengthened back up?
