I’m doing my first dressage test on Saturday and the hairnet I ordered online has failed to arrive. I work in a city centre, will I find one in a normal shop? No time to go anyway horsey...

I have a friend who wore an "Ena Sharples" type hairnet on a fun ride we did recently (hope she won't mind me saying that if she's reading this LOL!), she's been growing her hair and it seemed an eminently sensible idea; we've all had that pesky feeling when you're cantering along and get a mouthful of hair!

I'm seriously thinking of getting a couple put by for riding in too!

I did think I might end with a bright blue sleeping hairnet, which might have ruined the look. I’ll look out for the boots heavyweight ones... I ended up with fine ones from Superdrug.
