For x-mas I want some half chaps and boots to go with as i hate my long boots, as they dig into the back of my knee the whole time and because of my leg problem don't fit properly and are very uncomfortable. Very hard to muck out and pick hooves out with as well.

Anyone know some really good ones that won't fall apart at the seems the first time i wear them?
Friend got some and it happened to her so thought I'd ask somewhere that knew what they were talking about.
Not bothered about the colour

just as long as they fit and won't break!

I have a pair of Loveson half chaps - only about £20 - had them years and wear them nearly everyday in all weathers. Ocassionally they get a scrub with a wet dandy brush and are still in great condition. Very comfortable and highly recommended. I also bought the Loveson short boots with a zip up the front which were really comfortable too but friends who bought them on my recommendation weren't so impressed and the zips kept falling down on one of them.

I use the Loveson ones for every day use too. They are great, I've had one pair for about four years, ride two or three horses most days and they're still going strong.

I have just got shires ones have had them for about 2 years where them everyday for approx 8 -9 hours (I work on a yard) and they are still going strong, nothing wrong with them. And they were only about 15 quid

I've got some Loveson ones - I've had them abt three years now and they're great. They're washable too! I have wide calves and they fit really well.
