Washed one of my sheepskin half pads at the weekend , i've had it a year but never washed it until now as hadn't used it that much. Washed it carefully on a delicate 30 degree wash, and used it last night and noticed that it had shrunk so gone from a full size to cob size!

So now it's not big enough to use with my saddle-so if anyone has any recommendations of ones that wash up well and don't shrink (and not overly expensive) please let me know as now i've got to buy another one!

Thanks!

Never had a prob with any of my nuumed stuff, and it gets washed and worn day in day out! I just rub value conditioner into the wool bit, then put it on a cool wash with non-bio washing powder. Bobs your uncle! I don't dry mine on the radiator, just on an airer or saddle rack for a couple of days - never managed to shrink one or even fade on yet (and I do have a particular skill for shrinking!!).

I do exactly the same as you- i have a few nuumed saddle cloths and they never ever shrink and are fab!- but the half pad that shrinked was not a nuumed! so i think that may have been the problem lol!
