OK I'll start by saying I'm not a fan of any 'saddle manipulation' using pads etc. I like my saddles to fit like a glove. But I've had the saddler out today and my saddle doesn't fit (I knew this which is why I had him out)... it's not awful but it's not right. Unfortunately, because of the shape of the back of the saddle it is never going to fit even with saddler tweaking so next week he's coming out with some saddles to try ... He has however said with her short back and slightly rounder barrel that narrows quickly, he seems to think that to get the close contact saddle with a perfect fit, SHe is going to need a made to measure or heavily tweaked standard fit depending on the make I choose. He reckons that I'm looking at christmas for a new saddle...
So in the mean time I have to make do... can anyone recommend a pad with variable shims that I can use as a stop gap.. (Id rather pay more for one that works than get a 'bargain'...)
Thanks
