Half panel saddle???

Has anyone got one of these and how different are they? Are the saddles with these more suited to a certain stamp of horse? Anything i should know b4 i decide to buy one? If its anyhelp its a close contact half panel saddle ive seen? x

I love them, all my saddles are Barry Swain half panels. THey sit behind the shoulder and allow total movement through the shoulder unrestricted by the standard french panels. Work brilliantly for horses with huge shoulder movement but also for horses with native blood that tend to have fat pads behind the shoulders which have a tendency to push against the front of the saddle. But the saddles are only as good as the fit. So i am not saying they will fit any better unless they are fitted correctly.

Oh they sound perfect for my fat git then lol, cant be a bad thing as all the saddles with these are sooo expensive!
