I love hambleden its miles and miles from us (we're near chatsworth!) but always worth going!! However having got back at midnight last night i am now knackered!! After my 5yo's fabulous result on Friday i was under pressure not to be totally useless!!!

Warmed up well for dressage only to be held for ages while the judge decided to have a break to make up time, thats fine if you're told she's running early to start with!!! He went really nicely just needs to be a little more forward (me being more brave to actually ask more in the test really). Was disappointed with 37 however as 34 was teh best in the section for most of the day and then 31 beat it actually wasn't that bad!

SJ looked big after Belton's piddly efforts and all teh coloured fillers etc make it more of an eyeful too. However he jumped really well for a clear

XC is a beautifully built course, not too big but educational with good questions. Set off quite steady until the first water which he jumepd absolutely without hesitation, i dont like the big steps out the quarry to a skinny but he made it feel easy and then i suddenly thought come on woman get your arse in gear and kick on a bit!! He flew into the second water over a big log and then came home easily. Just left it too late to kick!! Get 18 time faults which wasnt' bad as many had more and few had none but if i'd had 10 i'd have been in teh placings!!

However another point and on the back of it feel we can enter Houghton!! He's such a good pony

Great result: clever you and clever pony too! Getting points for a double clear is a real boost isn't it, and with your foot down you'd probably have got more.

Get that Houghton entry done: more HHOers are needed so we can have a good old knees-up.

Is E doing the BLYEH there(or whatever they call it now) with little 'un?

aww Tigers Eye he's getting there if you looked at our record its taken a long time but i do feel taht every point we've got has been well and truely earnt the hard way!!!! When I got him he couldnt do a thing, he was hunter through and through and I didn't really know how to do anything about it, so its been a case of me learning, them him learning and teaching each other!! Still love our hunting more though!!!

Nicky i'm just going to check my bank account won't die when it takes out teh £485.95 for Hambleden before i click pay now its all filled in tho so will pop out at lunchtime and check!

Think we'll take Spider my 4yo to do teh BYEH, never know Millie might get an outing too she's not really a BYEH though, too small and not a bay gelding like her bro!!!

Go tog, another dc
