I'd offer you the chance to come and ride him and prove how much better you can do, but it's a moot point really since I had to make the decision to retire him yesterday - nice timing, thanks.

Thanks both - that's life sadly....I have my fingers crossed I have found him a nice field to retire in and he can eat and sleep his years out. He doesn't owe me anything, so the least I can do is listen when he's had enough.

Rotten, SC. Had to retire mine a couple of months back - v tough (though mine wasn't really a decision, it was forced upon me!).
