Sillymare is competing.
Love the course, competed last year came 6th with winnie.
Steps cause a few problems, although theyve made them kinder.
Course is up to height but encouraging.
Love it there, its a local event for us. Winston is at Twes on saturday but will go on sunday to watch teh intermediate i think.

lovely event, certainly one of the better ones out there.
pretty up to height but fair and not overly technical.

Mine are fine with steps so thats ok.

Although Spidey is having a good look at fences at the sides of spooky hedgerows!! Going XC this Sat with her, spose with babies its just "keep plugging away"!! So annoying though as it isnt the actual fence just the hedgerows!!

Jums in woods or open spaces are fine!

It's running from the 20-22nd April,i spectate every year and it's such a lovely place to go to.The course is upto height and the steps can be interesting! but i think they've redone them,i hack around the course regularly as i have a permit for the estate, lucky me! The only thing i would say is that when you jump into the woods it's quite dark for the horses and i've seen a few spook approaching the jump in and out of the woods, going from dark to light can also be tricky but all in all a very nice inviting course thats quite straight forward.
If your competing good luck,i'll be cheering you on!!

Im sec E & F, which is good as dressage for those doesnt start till 10.30am. Shouldnt be a mega early morning like Poplar at grt witch! Which were 4am starts!

Oh dear was Goring ground hard?

Hambledon should be nice with it being all through woods.

Im taking mine XC schooling on sat and am worried about the ground, will be taking it easy and icing up after!

Harder than I realised it seems!! I thought it was OK underneath, just hard on top, but she is sore on both front feet.

Can't believe we are having these problems in April!!

Haven't managed to find section lists yet.

Might change anyway, trying to persuade them to switch Lex to Novice (will be embarassing if she isn't right by then and we have to withdraw anyway!!).

Lovely lovely course just kick to the shiney cartridges at about fence 3, as everything always spooks at them!!

I've just gone from the Nov to the PN having only been jumping for a week so far!! But am told i'm on the front cover of the programme - fame at last!
