Nope its also Donkeys and Mules,i LOVE salami,but stopped eating salami from Italy(2 Months ago) since they use donkey meat in it and it might be animals who have suffered the long transport...so no more salami for me !!!

Thanks for posting that. It's also farm animals as well and a good reason to check that all the meat you buy is British. Pork (especially bacon and sausages) are particular culprits. I refuse to buy meat these days unless I know where it has come from so I stick to my local butcher who knows where it's from.

Me too, all meat from the local butcher, what makes it worse is that there is legislation about this and there are alternatives so there is absolutely no excuse.
