hands up those who rode about 8.30 this morning in the cold...

Me! My lesson was at 7am. our school was covered in snow and my instructor passed comment how nice my horse looked as she is black and we were riding on the white snow so she really stood out . I have to admit to being slightly worried in case she slipped but she's barefoot and didn't slip once, we walked, trotted and cantered. It was amazing.

Would put hand up ... but not defrosted yet :p not quite 8 30, but was riding at 9.. only got back from the stables at 6pm ! Not quite sure how I manage to fill up so much time.. oh yeah- its probably the hours I spend sitting by the heater :D

Wow, some of you deserve several gold stars :)

Think it feels better to look back on having 'made the effort' in horrible weather, than it does at the time.

I planned to, but after a small accident that resulted in half of me falling in a water trough, (the fault of that fecking feral carthorse called Little Ted), I went back home at 8am to dry out.

Rode a little later but still freezing, at least it's dry though.

LOL, I think we, the HHO public, have a right to know more about exactly how you got dunked - pleeeease!

I did some flatwork schooling with my horse this morning at 8am, and then thought my face was going to fall off due to the bitter cold!

Chuffed with my Gold Star :D

Yep. 2 1/2 hours today. 2 yesterday. First endurance ride of the season in 2 weeks...... Fabulous rides with lots of faster work to keep the temp up! Pony was her usual awesome self.

Early start today!
My 11 year old son was riding at 7am, and in the ring at a show by 7.30am!
Dont even ask what time I was lunging the pony!
