Hanging cheek help

I have got a hanging cheek snaffle for my mare with a centre revolver..but is it suppose to go on a certain way?? The mouthpiece is straighter on one side and more curved on the other?? Sorry being thick x

Thats what Im thinking cos my french link with a curved mouthpiece is like that...

Always the curved sides to face inside the mouth and the straight parts to face forwards towards the teeth, the curve is to help sit nicely with tongue pressure & edge of lips where it has contact with the riders hands.
