I'm trying to do some research about my horse, and it turns out to be harder than I thought. I know that she was born in Ireland and spent the first three or four years of her life there, and I've been told that she was used in hunting. I also know that she was born(well, her first owner lived there anyway) in Kells, Meath. Her name is Hanging in There, and she is of the colour piebald.
So I thought I'd try this forum, just to check if anyone have seen her before. :)

Hi there, you could post her photo on boards.ie and see if anyone on the forum hunted with her, some of them are from meath. Hope this helps you. Your horse is fab by the way.:)

she is very nice. height, and age would also help, and who/where you bought her from. is she micro chipped? any flu vacc record ? you could contact the vets who had vacc her. they cant give you prev history or owner but can pass your contact info on to them. Good luck in your search.

Thanks! She is approximately 147 cm. I have the name of her first owner but after a lot of googling I can't seem to find anything(his name is probably very usual also). I also think it is a bit odd that in her passport it does say who owned her first, but her parents and breed is unknown. Could it be because she is a mix and for all I know, an "accident"?

Aww she looks like our cob x connie.
Sorry, i wouldnt know anything but i just wanted to say your pony is pretty :)

^Yes, but I only found a veterinary that has signed in her passport. Not sure what I can ask him about if I were to call, especially since it's been about four years.

Who is the vet??? PM me with all details if you like. I live near the Meath/Dublin border. Did you try stabletostable.com (Irish Forum)

If you got your horse from a dealer then they will have got it from someone that sell and breeds load. So you will just have to find the breeder.
