I’m trying to find some nice hooks for hanging rugs on when out of use / drying etc… I have rug racks as well but like hooks for extras as they take up less room… but has anyone got alternatives to the basic Stubbs hooks that are ok but not brilliant

I have beams in my tack room, low ceiling so I can reach them, I put big nails in them & hang rugs by the neck D rings to dry them . I have a heater in there. Much to my husband’s annoyance .

1660938092837.pngI always use these but know of a horse who snapped his bottom jaw on one so make sure it can't be reached by my horse. Its hung from the top of my stable and i do up the breast strap on the rug and hang them by that.

Have one four hook for lightweight turnout, one fpur hook for 200gm and 350g and one for stable rugs.

Husband made a giant wooden clothes horse which opens up in the same way as a pair of step ladders. It takes 3 large rugs or 6 rugs folded in half. It's very handy for hosing off muddy rugs in winter or drying rugs after washing.
