She's based in Holland now with Emile Hendrix and by the looks of her website she's got some new younger horses. Possibly just decided it times to move on?
She is now living in Holland, that is correct. Lucky is not stopping, Hannah would not sell a horse just because it stopped. She is concentrating on the young horses she has to secure her future in showjumping. One person can only ride so many horses. Hannah knows how much she owes Lucky and she loves him to pieces but sometimes you have to put those feelings aside and do what is best for all, it wouldn't be fair on Lucky to stand around doing nothing. Otherwise everyone would just collect horses and never sell any of them!
Sirius is going well at the moment, he is a beautiful horse, my mare is in love with him! Hannah is not the first person to sell a good horse.
Please don't think that I was implying anything negative about Hannah I have known her on the circuit for years, I was just interested and since I do little BSJA these days am a little out of touch. Glad to hear she is doing well and getting good training.
Oh no I didn't think you were implying anything, but Hannah has been good to me and I feel the need to defend her should people get the wrong idea. I would love to have him, he is just me sort, small and cheeky and prone to giving you a quick nip as you walk past his stable. Just like my little pony.
Unfortunately don't have the money. But who does?!!
I do little competion riding these days too. Too much to do and keeping horses fit and ready to go is such hard work when you have to work as well. No stamina!! My little one got fat last summer and is still carrying the weight.
